An introduction to life outside the comfort zone

This book offers a very challenging, provoking, and intense look at the way that life can be totally different once we jump outside of our comfort zone. So often we live our lives based entirely upon habit. This book teaches that we can take another look at what we want, and decide to take our life and freedom into our own hands, without caring about what others will say or think. It is a great guide for people trying to do fantastic things, and wanting to see their dreams explode!
The approach is step by step, and is very much like taking a guided tour through life with the authors. Being very familiar with the material, I can sincerely commend the authors on their thorough coverage of the theme of psychology, the comfort zone, and the implications of living inside of the comfort zone. Every exercise makes you want to discover what life has in store for you outside of the box. Each one is like a bridge into the undiscovered country which we call the unknown.
The book is very helpful for anyone who gets into situations where there is no way out but to rethink solutions, and reinvent oneself. It offers many creative ideas, which can be like shoes upon the feet of people who want to wander the road towards self-actualization.
I was a bit skeptical about the book at first, when I first came in contact with it. But after going through the book many times , I was amazed to see that many of the things that are written make sense, and really can work out for people who have an open mind. This book helped me to see opportunities for growth, and areas of my life which I had stopped from developing unconsciously, because they were uncomfortable to explore, or too risky. Naturally I still have a lot to learn!
I think that the comfort zone is a huge theme, and because the authors cover it concisely for the most part, it does not bore, but moves well from exercise to exercise. I think the best part about it is that the book encourages you to always think of doing something new, which for me, is what life should always be: interesting, exciting, and free.
I wish I could offer some negative criticism, to be more balanced, but after reading the book through several times, and studying it very thoroughly, it seems that the most negative thing I can say is that it is an extremely challenging, but nevertheless very useful tool for anyone at all. Some of the ideas might seem insane, and granted, they might be a bit farfetched for some. But at the same time, if you are always doing the same thing in life, then the unpredictable and the unknown is probably always going to sound crazy.
In summary, I would have to say that the book is a stimulating, well written, practical, concise, and well thought out piece of literature which can help someone to get out of a rut in life. But of course that is only my opinion. If you are one of the few lucky people who are completely satisfied with where they are in life, and are living it absolutely to the fullest, then you probably do not want to waste any money on a book which challenges you to expand your horizons. But then again, if your life is already perfect, then why waste your time exploring anything new?

Accept the Challenge!

Don't read this book if you want things to stay poor as they are!
Don't read this book if you want to stay unconfident as you are!
Don't read this book if you want your life to be limited as it is!
But, if you want to change things, and make a great experience in your life... this book is a MUST HAVE!
I've read several books about changing things and habits. But no one is like this. It changed my life immediately.
The difference to other books is, that you do not only read about the psycological background in our brain, but you have to take action.
There are about hundred challenges, that help you to get out of your comfortzone and reach higher goals in your life.
Read the book, DO the challenges and it will absolutely change your life.

Challenge yourself

I'm working in experiential education and this book outlines a lot of ideas to practice the comfort zone learn model. Challenge yourself to experience new things, to learn, to find adventures, to deal with fears and expectations.
If you don't feel like doing the activities written in this book you should definately challenge yourself and do them. :)
One thing you also can learn here is, that some actions aren't the right thing for you and that you're always able to return to the comfort zone if you like.
