Hot Hot Hot!!!

Blue is just so hot! I mean seriously off the charts alpha hot. Lola/Hannah betrayed him 5 years before and she knows he is just buying his time to take out his revenge on her. Watching over her ever night as she strips and making sure that the clients don't abuse her is all he has been doing so far but now the time has come to get what he feels he is owed. Blue really has no idea why Lola is stripping and working at the Grand and really doesn't care until he starts figuring things out about her from spending time outside of work with her and Lola has no idea what Blue has been up to since she betrayed him. Both are beautifully broken and it's going to take them together to fix each other. The sex scenes are hot by the way so get ready!

OMG, have you ever read a book that you are screaming silently inside because it made you that ecstatic, hehehehe, well THIS is the book!!! I have loved this series to date and this story, oh gosh, this story I LOVED!!!!!!!!
Blue, oh hell Blue, you rocked my world in every single way along with Lola/Hannah..... Yes, please, I want to to be the cream of that Oreo cookie sandwich:)
It captured me from the start and held me until the VERY END!!!!! I LOVED this story, I LOVED these characters and Author Skye Warren, you hit a GRAND freaking SLAM!!!!!! It was dark, gritty, raw and oh so smoking hot DIRTY!!!!!! Arghhhhhh, I was literally squirming in my seat with my girly parts tingling like crazy......LOL Wowza, my Kindle was on fire:)
Congrats to you on another outstanding book in this series!!!! I cannot wait for Ivan and Candy's story:) Oh and PLEASE tell me we will be getting Gio and Clara's story too!!!!!!!! Author Skye Warren, You are the BOMB:)

Beautifully painful love story...

Raw, gritty, painful and beautiful. I know those words usually don't go together, but that is the only way to describe it. This story is so intense I felt it to my marrow, it filled me with so many feelings. As always with all Skye Warren books, once I started reading it, I couldn't put it down.
This is the story of Lola (aka Hannah) and Blue, two people who share a painful past. They meet again while Lola is a stripper at a club called the Grand, and Blue is the bouncer/bodyguard.
Lola is a deeply troubled young woman trying to get by the best way she knows how, all while trying to support her former foster mother, Mrs. Owens, who has dementia and kidney failure. The interactions between Lola and her foster mom are bittersweet but heartwarming. Lola's world is turned upside down when Blue comes back into her life. He is always watching and waiting for a chance to get back at Lola for what she did to him.
The love scenes were brutal and tender all at the same time. The chemistry between Lola and Blue is explosive and it cannot be denied. But, it is more than just sex between these two, they forged a bond in childhood that survived crushing heartache and ultimate betrayal. This is a story of redemption, forgiveness, and a deep, all-consuming love.
This is my favorite so far from Mrs. Warren, she has a knack for writing characters who are broken but strong. Characters that go to hell and back and never give up. I'm very much looking forward to the next book in this exciting, heartwrenching, and beautifully painful series.
