Loved it!!!

I'm not really a fan of any story that starts w/any amount of deception or lies especially on the h's part,all too often the heroine is made vulnerable enough as it is w/either cheating BF's or ex's ,painful back stories , on the run from hurt and pain or about to dive head 1st into some... Last thing a "Cringe Kitty" ;) like me likes or needs is to worry about her getting caught in a lie or deception w/the H ,especially when he's wealthy or powerful of a Sheikh and or Prince but this all worked out soo beautifully and had at least one twist I didn't really see coming .... I just hope we get to see Akil's sweet,sweet sister get the love she wants and deserves.... I mean if things can work out for Stacy and Akil ? Why not a couple of sweet scientists ;) .... I was also scheduled o thrilled after soo many duds in this genre ( Sheikhs) to finally found such a wonderful story, I got turned on to this genre by Diana Fraiser's "Desert King's" series ( LOVED IT!!!) that I started looking for more ,sadly most I found only served to remind me of why I'd stayed away, at best short fluff stories where there's just enough story to balance out the insta-love ,that w/a story that's soo lacking in substance you don't really "feel" or believe,fluff but nice ish fluff..... Or the kinda stories I'd feared w/naive doormat heroines and conniving and manipulating H's that run rough shod over them and treat them like chattel and or property, and the H talks down to them about proper training and letting them know they are to be married and made over by old harem whores ;(
Yeah that last one almost had me in very angry tears ;'( but this ?
This was a wonderful beautiful,modern love story's/a Sheikh twist, Thank You soo much Ms. Pearson for the new and wonderful addition to my Sheikh collection ;) I can't wait for more ;)

Very Good Story

This is a better than average sheikh story. Stacy travels to the Middle Eastern country of Soruman to ask the King' to help his illegitimate son( her brother) from a youthful relationship get medical help from injuries incurred in a climbing accident. By chance, while playing beach volleyball with some guys who live in her hostel, she catches the eye of Akil, a well connected "friend" of the King. I won't spoil the story but there are MORE surprises in store for Stacy on her quest.

Worth The Wait

It was a long time before Kris Pearson wrote this one, but worth the wait. It’s a lot more modern-day than many of the sheik stories and you really feel like you’re there in that country. I loved Akil and Stacy. He’s funny and flirty and sexy, and she is independent and brave. They were perfect for each other and I was so angry at what the newspapers did to them. Excellent story with an unexpected and very satisfying ending.
